Tuesday 31 October 2023.
Laterally folding, monotube chair.
1. Assessment
The Zenit range of chairs also includes welded variants. The Zenit CLT still folds, but its centre of gravity, back rest, castor struts, brake connection, and skirtguard mounts are welded. The Zenit R has a rigid frame, but the folding components and adjustable components of the Zenit proper. Finally, on the Zenit R CLT, all of the aforementioned components are welded, and the chair itself does not fold up. The Zenit R or Zenit R CLT are of the greater interest to me. Ottobock’s day Invader sounds an even closer match.
